Live your Island Dreams with a visit to Cuatro Islas, Leyte!

Sitting in front of the municipalities of Inopacan and Hindang, CUATRO ISLAS gathers 4 beautiful islands and has already started receiving attention from island lovers in both the local and international scene.

Its name, Cuatro Islas, means “four islands” in Spanish. The tourist spot consists of Mahaba Island, Apid Island, Digyo Island, and Himokilan Island. Each of them have their own pristine shoreline and thriving marine life. A wonder of nature you can explore and discover on your own!

In Mahaba Island, you can see pristine waters and unique rock formations. There is a very long stretch of white sand – hence its name. Sea turtles and underwater creatures thrive here, so snorkeling is a recommended activity.

Apid Island is a fishing village where you can learn the way of life of the locals. This is not usually visited by tourists since it is a residential area, but it also has beautiful white beaches.

The most popular will be Digyo Island. Sandbars and palm trees will welcome you upon setting foot on the island. There are closed cottages and camping tents available here, making it very ideal for tourists. It’s even named as Inopacan’s little Boracay.

Last but not the least will be Himokilan Island. This island belongs to the municipality of Hindang, so visiting might incur additional costs. However, it shares the beauty of the other islands and the rich marine life.
